About Us

What is Mumguard?

Mumguard is a medical device that tracks the temperature distribution in the breasts and notes any areas that are warmer than average areas that could be signs of cancerous changes.

Wireless connectivity is required for Mumguard Care mobile app to operate on smartphones and tablets. The app offers clear instructions for the duration of the examination and transmits the collected data to AI machine that detect lump in the breast.

The Device

Prototype Design

A 360° look at the Mumguard handheld scanner. The wide sensing head rests flat against the breast to read temperature distribution across the tissue, while the contoured grip keeps the device steady and easy to guide through a full self-examination.

The prototype is built to be light, portable and radiation-free — pairing wirelessly with the Mumguard Care app so readings reach the AI model the moment a scan is finished.
